Entry Postern metal gate. According to the owner of the fortress, still the original gate of 1914.
The right picture shows the right (and remaining) wing of the 'Traditore' battery.
When I was taking these photographs, I've met the owner of the
fortress. When he was showing me around, he told me that his father
bought the fortress during the late 60's, primarily to use the
water of the ditch for feeding vetgetables.
Trees were planted on the domain, a road was constructed to give
the fire brigade easily access and many houses were build on top
and around the area. Today, several families are living in the
domain, surrounded by green and quiteness. Much different than
in 1914.
