Entry Postern with 'Traditore' Battery which provided support fire for the surrounding fortresses. The entire left wing of the Traditore battery is destroyed. The debri is cleaned up years ago. The other pictures shows the central corridor going towards the inner part of the Fort, were air came in and central offices were located.

When the war broke out, the installation of the guns was not yet fully completed.

To reinforce the infantry positions or the gun cupolas, sand bags were filled with concrete. Many of the bags can still be found on the terrain.

The right picture shows the right (and remaining) wing of the 'Traditore' battery.

When I was taking these photographs, I've met the owner of the fortress. When he was showing me around, he told me that his father bought the fortress during the late 60's, primarily to use the water of the ditch for feeding vetgetables.
Trees were planted on the domain, a road was constructed to give the fire brigade easily access and many houses were build on top and around the area. Today, several families are living in the domain, surrounded by green and quiteness. Much different than in 1914.
