LET ME BE NEAR
I can't ease your aching heart nor take your pain away ; but let me stay and take your hand and walk with you today . WHY WORRY?
There
are two days in every week we should not worry about ,
two
days that should be kept free from fear and apprehension
one
is yesterday ,with it's mistakes and cares ,
it's
faults and blunders,it's aches and pains .
Yesterday
, has passed ,forever beyond our control,
all
the money in the world can't bring it back .
we
cannot undo one simple act we performed
nor
can we erase a single word we've said
yesterday
is gone .
The
other day we shouldn't worry about is
tomorrow
,with it's impossible BECAUSE SIMPLY
it's
beyond our control

IF I HAD MY LIFE TO LIVE OVER
I would have talked less and listened more .
I
would have invited friends over for dinner even if
the
carpet was stained and the sofa faded .
I
would have eaten the popcorn in the living room
and
worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light the fire .
I
would have taken more time listening to my grandfather ramble about his youth .
I
would never have insisted the car window must be rolled up in summer ,
because
my hair had just been teased and sprayed .
I
would have used all my things instead of being ruined in the storage .
I
would have sat on the lawn with my kids
and
not worry about the grass stains.
I
would have shared more responsibilities carried by my husband .
I
would have gone to bed when I was sick, instead of pretending
that
the earth will go into a holding pattern if I weren't there for the day .
Instead
of wishing away nine month of pregnancy
I
would have cheriched every moment
and
realized that the wonder growing inside of me;
was
the only chance in life to assit God in a miracle
when
my kids kissed me impetuously,
I
wouldnever have said "later" go and get washed up for dinner .
There
have been more I LOVE U'S ...more"I'M SORRYS"
but
mostly,given another shot at life ,
I
would seize every minute ...look at it and really see it;
live
it ..and never give it back..

catch a rainbow
I would do it just for you.
And share with you it's beauty
On the days you're feeling blue.
If I could build a mountain
You could call your very own.
A place to find serenity
A place to be alone.
If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea.
But all these things I'm finding
are impossible for me,
I cannot build a mountain
Or catch a rainbow fair
