OMBOBO HISTORY:
Ombobo Team was originally founded in the year of 1993, and the Head Quarters were at an early stage established at the former hunting estate Kulthaug close to the village of Ustaoset, Norway. Ustaoset is situated fairly close to the skiing resort Geilo, where most of the Ombobo Team events are arranged.

At an early stage it was also decided that the Ombobo Team had to be exclusive, meaning that one could/would not accept any new members.

Ombobo Team rapidly became extremely popular and famous at both skiing resorts as well as homes for disabled people throughout Norway. As the team became more famous, one found it profitable to use more human and economic resources on public relations. This was especially important to ensure a growth for the Team. Among some of the international actions taken, were Philip`s P.R. trips to French skiing resorts.

Ombobo Team soon found it necessary to establish additional sub-bases in the cities of Bergen, Norway and Hamburg, Germany. Aleks-T (also known as Brillex-T) was given the responsibility for the Hamburg-Branch of Ombobo Team. Popularity kept on growing for Ombobo Team, and the Team now had an international reputation. During the winter of 1996 the most frequently asked question in Aspen Skiing Resort, USA, was; How can I become a member of Ombobo Team? That winter Ombobo Team had to reject letters from more than six million hopeful souls who were all hoping to become members. Solid as a rock (despite massive criticism), Ombobo Team supported the original policy on not accepting additional members.

Ombobo Team became the very essence of ôno-good youth. In an M-TV interview (April 1997) enemies of the team stated that othe members of Ombobo Team don`t care about anything else than skiing, snowboarding, having fun and consuming alcoholic beverageso, which is actually completely true! Unfortunately people envying the success of Ombobo Team tried to sabotage the fine institution, and at one occasion the official Ombobo Team flag was actually stolen from Kulthaug and destroyed. But, however, the brave members of Ombobo Team would not give up their battle for the right to enjoy their own lives.

Today Ombobo Team is considered an untouchable institution, and is in control of enormous resources. Among other things, Ombobo Team manages several real estates throughout Europe, three Hum-Vee and two Range-Rover vehicles, one Gulf Stream V executive jet, advanced communication equipment, state of the art ôsnow equipment and of course extensive economic resources. All to ensure the never-ending existence of Ombobo Team.
