Whether it be tragic, happy, sad or funny; if a photograph doesn't have emotion, it's a waste of film. I have received numerous awards from the Associated Press and the Minnesota Newspaper Association.

Crash and Burn
|
**A State Trooper comforts the driver of a school bus struck by a roof repair truck on a foggy morning near Fairmont, Minnesota in 1998. The accident sent several students to the hospital, closed the road several hours while fireman removed hundreds of gallons of sticky tar from the roadway. This photograph took 3rd place in the 1998 AP photo contest for spot news.
