Final fantasyVIII PC demo

Recently Square announced the development of Final Fantasy VIII for the PC and that it would be featured at E3. Thanks to Gamespot we now have 15 screen shots from the game. Final Fantasy VIII for the PC looks to be more realistic than it's somewhat disappointing predecessor, Final Fantasy VII. We can also expect Final Fantasy VIII PC to have enhanced special effects and high resolution graphics that will be superior the PSX version of the game. Final Fantasy VIII for the PSX and PC are both scheduled for release in Q4 (Sept-Dec) of this year.

Things are a bit changed from Final Fantasy 7 where confirm was O, cancel was X and menu was triangle. In Final Fantasy 8, X is okay, Triangle is cancel and O is menu.
First thing you should probably do is bump up the battle speed and the text speed in the options, so the parts that you'd like to whiz by actually whiz by while you can take your time on the parts where you want to slow things down.

Guardian Forces are somewhat like summons of Final Fantasy 7. However, they can be developed like the characters you use. They can gain experience points (AP) to gain levels which develops their statistics. Those RPG fanatics that like maxing out their characters will now have to spend twice the time playing!
In the world of Final Fantasy 8, spells work in a different system. You don't actually learn spells. You have to "draw" them from enemies and stock them up like items. This is a very strange system from previous Final Fantasies.
