One of the worst wrecks ever on the SDERY happened on the La Jolla line near Ocean Beach along the side of West Point Loma Blvd. The two cars met in a dense fog early in the morning of November 22, 1937. Miraculously, nobody was killed, although several recieved serious injuries. Click here to see photos of the trestle near the site of the wreck as it appears today.
