What is the TAMR?

The TAMR is a non-profit, 501c7 organization
run by
teens for teens. We have
members throughout North America and
China and are
actively working
to promote the great hobbies of model
railroading and
railfanning among
the youth of the world.

The TAMR is a special interest group of the
National
Model Railroad Association and
exclusive National Co-Sponsor of the Great
American
Train Show. However, we
are an independent organization and all
decisions are
made by elected TAMR teens!
.
We publish a quasi-monthly newsletter, the
Hotbox, as
well as quarterly regional newsletters.
Annually we hold an international
convention and many
regions hold conventions
on a regular basis. We strive to put teens
into contact
with eachother in order
to make valuable friendships and have fun!
