In spite of no extensive rebuild like their TTC's counterparts, some of the 25-year old Markham Fishbowls such as 2003, BB1134 have received some modifications in the past 3 years. This includes the removal of the standee windows, the new YRT livery and the improved black-and-yellow mylar. |

Orillia Transit Solo 9710 and Markham Transit
Orion I 2019 were seen at Miller yard on Mar 24 2003. Orillia 9710 was a fire victim and
her license plate has been removed. It took about 2 months to refurbish Markham Transit
2019, remember 2019 was parked at the same spot in mid January. Notice that the Fletcher
2000 ad and the "Sorry, Not In Service" exposure were still there after the
refurbishment. |

| YRT 8503 | Markham Transit 30ft Orion I 2019 and YRT 8503 (BL3975) were seen at Markham Miller yard in Jan 2003. YRT 8503 was originally new to Collingwood Transit, the bus was sold to PMCL for the Toronto Airport service, as PMCL lost the Airport service contract, the bus was used in Orillia for a few months before YRT purchased the bus from PMCL recently. |

1981 Orion I YRT 514 (Vaughan) has had some modifications in these few years. A new Windshield Washer Fill Connector has been added on the front. The black-and-white destination sign has been replaced by a yellow one with the exposure "OUT OF SERVICE" being replaced by "SORRY...OUT OF SERVICE". The Vaughan Transit logo, the BA license plate and even the Orion crest were either replaced or lost. This is a shot on 514 with the 77 exposure, the 7B exposure, the interior, the seating, the back of the bus. |

| 515 (1) | RT 515 (BK2378) showed up on the 5 Clark occasionally in a 2003 summer afternoon. As the new buses came in, the older and smaller buses are no longer needed on the busy routes like the 5 Clark. The 19-year old 515 was also retired in early 2004. |

These 2 buses have single stream centre door and can be seen at YRT Terminal almost everyday. 914 has received the YRT logo while 915 is still all-white when she was photographed in May 2002. | 8916 | Richmond Hill Transit 8916 has been sitting in the Miller yard since early April, the bus is probably awaiting for rebuild or maintenance work. YRT8916 was wrapped with the South Hill Shopping Centre ad in October 2003, the bus got smaller fleet # on the back window after receiving body work in March 2003. |
| 519 | Richmond Hill Transit D40-89 Flyer 519 (BE9011) used to carry the Royal Lepage ad for a long time. As 519 became a YRT bus, she received a new license plate BK4988 in the year of 2001. 519, which is now known as 8919, was the first bus that received the full YRT livery and the new yellow and black mylar in the year of 2002. All YRT D40 Flyers have been retired by the end of 2009, 9 out of the total fleet of 14 buses were chosen for an extra of 6 years service in 2002 while the other 5 (8911, 8913, 8915, 8916, 8920) were withdrawn in the next year or so. this photo was taken in December 2002. |

Unlike the TTC's 2600 series buses, most of the STCUM features including the seats, the side signs and even the original # 25-028 above the rear window were retained.
