| Postal Truck (1990) | By 1990, most of the Canada Post trucks were painted with the then 100th anniversary postal service livery. Many of them have been repainted with the new painting scheme and original license # recently and only a few remain in the old livery in the GTA area by August 1999. |
| Postal Truck (old 1) | Canada Post has introduced new painting scheme on their new postal trucks, the blue stripe becomes more wavy and the front end becomes more red. |
| Postal Truck - 1 | There are a total of 4 different postal truck painting scheme since 1990, the half & half white and red scheme, the half & half red and gray with a blue stripe on the sides, the half & half red and white with a blue stripe extended to the front and the all red with the blue stripe only on the sides. The early 1990 painting scheme has been gone since late 2003, more new postal trucks these days have the all-red front end painting. The era of the different painting scheme can be observed by looking at the difference on the license plate styles. |
| 8068 | 1999 is a relentless year for the late 1970s TTC buses and many old features became history. 8068 was last seen in April 99 on 36 Finch West, she was the last GM bus the white color top corners on the front. Sept 7 1999 was also the last day for 8257 on a full day 506 streetcar shuttle bus duty, 8257 was the last Flyer D800B series. Both buses were honorably retired in Sept 1999. |
| Macau B05 | B05 MG-87-44 is a 1998 22ft O014 Mercedes Benz low floor bus in Transmac, one of the bus operators in Macau. (Macau is 60 km west of Hong Kong). The bus was photographed when I was on a trip to Macau in early Sept 2000. The bus in behind was a 1988 Nissan Civilian. |
| AV77 | Hong Kong Buses: AV77, GF4681 is one of a total of 480 A/C Volvo Olympian 11 meter bus owned by Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB owns about 4000 buses and about 3750 of them are double decker buses). Right: New World First Bus (NWFB) DM20, ES2546 is a non-A/C Dennis Condor built in 1990. |
| AV142 | FP5449 or AL142 is a Kowloon Motor Bus 1993 11 meters Leyland Olympian in Hong Kong, the bus was about 7 years old when she was photographed in September 2000. |
| Tokyo Routemster | A Tokyo, Japan area AEC Routemaster was seen being used as an advertising bus for McAfee internet security software, this photo was taken in April 2008. |
| Tokyo Keio 23-86 | Some Keio buses, like 23-86 with special bigger pink banner on front, in Tokyo are accepting both Suica and Pasmo prepaid cards for fare payment. The older buses, like 3-95 with smaller pink sticker, just accept Pasmo. This photo was taken on 14 October 2010. |
| Routemasters | 3 ex-London Transport Routemasters including BA4802, BC8555 are in their second career after coming to Niagara Falls in the early 1980's. This photo was taken in summer 1999. | Police car 1 | Metro Toronto Police recently introduced new painting scheme on their new cars that were purchased in 2001. The red and blue stripes are deeper. The slogan "Working with the community" does not exist anymore and the words "Emergency dial 911" is replaced by a telephone symbol and then 911. |
| Police Coach MCI | Police MCI coach (BJ 6365) was seen out during the Metro Police week in May 2005. |
| License plates | In around 1996, there was a change in the design of the Ontario public vehicle license plate. The word "Ontario" was moved to the top and the "Yours to Discover" was added to the bottom. Currently, only 9 TTC buses still carry the BC license plates and no more TTC bus has BA, BB, BD and BE plate. |
| HSR 8601 | 2 HSR Classics 8601 and 8714 were seen in May 2000. |
| Ex. GO 1416 | Embassy Suites Tour bus 50 is the former GO 1416 coach 1986 MCI 102A2. Marriott, Magnificient Tours, Shertaon also had former GO coach in their fleet. This photo was taken on September 4 2010. |

GO Prevost Lemirage 1608 had its wheel chair lift deployed. 2 GO supervisors were called in to operate the lift and the whole process took about 15 mins. |

| GO 8003 | GO Transit Alexander Dennis Enviro 500 double decker bus 8003 (BN3336) entered active service and was seen at York University on May 1 2008. |
| GO 9036 (1) | GO Transit is testing a British-built double decker Dennis Trident. The bus (9036) belongs to Victoria Regional Transit System. At 11am on May 9 2002, after a brief ceremony at York Region Transit Terminal, 9036 was assigned to Route C. 9036 received a 10-day temporary license. | GO 9036/1134 | Dennis double decker Trident with the GO Transit exposure meets Ontario-built Orion I with the GO Transit logo. Both buses were assigned to Route C Richmond Hill on May 9 2002. |
| Kitchener 792 | 792 is a 1945 Ford Transit Model 5-9B bus from Kitchener, the bus was restored by the TTC for historic display purposes only. The TTC logo, the Races, the Jane and the Forest Hill exposures on the destination sign were added. This bus is now owned by Ontario Electric Railway Historic Association. This is a brief introduction on the Ford Transit Model 5-9B bus. The TTC had been using this type of fare boxes until late 1980s as the fare box was already jammed with the $1 and $2 bills as ridership was high. | Oakville 1821 sign changing | Oakville Transit Orion V 1821 (BF 2300) came to downtown Toronto for movie shoot purpose on Mar 19 2003. With some New York taxis in the background, 1821 became a BTC New York Transit bus (BZ 6832) in the movie. After that, the plastic destination sign and the New York State license plate were removed but the BTC logo remains. |

| Kennedy station (1) | Kennedy station was sealed off on Oct 19 2003 for police investigation. Shuttle buses were running from Warden to Lawrence East station to replace the subway and SRT services. All passengers had to board the buses outside the Kennedy station area. |
| Brampton 8274 (1) | Brampton Transit GM New Look 8274 (BK3769) made a rare appearence at Finch station in a July 2003 afternoon rush hours, the windows were open as the air conditioning was not in service. |

| Barbados 1 | Barbados Transport Board runs a significant number of Mercedes Benz and Hino buses. A Hino Road Runner can carry 24 passengers, no standing passenger is allowed on board, these photos were taken in the Barbados downtown bus terminus in January 2004. |

| Ex TTC 2766 | Ex. TTC 2766 and 2894 became a Third Avenue Railway System streetcar for movie purposes on July 1 2004. The front entrance of the Bay store in behind was also transformed into the March 1935 New York Madison Square Garden. Here is the view of streetcar 2894. |

In Cuba, tractor trailer are the common form of local "Camelo" (buses) in the capital city Havana, therefore it is relatively quiet to be on board. Portuguese-built Busscar buses are widely used to shuttle tourists between the resorts and downtown Havana. |

New York City Transit Flyer D60 High Floor buses are widely used on the M15, MTA 5681 and 5626 were seen at the United Nations in early September 2005. 5399 was at the age at 10 when being photographed in June 2010, a few 1996-97 Flyer D60HF buses were still active. |
| NYCTA 6637 | NYCTA Hybrid Electric Bus 6637 was only a few months old when seen in Sept 2005. This is the rear shot on 6637. The usage of the Orion VII Hybrid buses is rather limited during the weekends and holidays. |

| CTA 6203 | Chicago Transit 1995 Flxible 6203 was seen in November 2006. 6203 was retired at the age of 14 in October 2009 after the retirement on the 6000 series buses began in 2008. |

| CTA 9833 | Chicago Transit Authority CTA Flyer D901 9833, with single stream centre door, was seen on route 4 in the downtown area in July 1994 when the bus was 11 years old. This bus was retired in 2002 at the age of 18. |
