D40 LF Flyer (7300-7350) |
Toronto subway system was shut down in the Aug 14 afternoon due to the power supply failure, the whole subway system was closed for at least 3 and a half day. Only the 7300 series buses showed the 1 Yonge Subway Shuttle while all other buses only showed the Yonge Subway Shuttle exposure without the route #. These photos were taken on 6pm Aug 16 2003.
| 7338 / 2710 | Both 7338 and 2710 were newly numbered vehicles in August 1999 and both buses needed some work before they could begin their new duties. Their differences include that 7338 later got a new BK license number later while 2710 (ex 8637) still had her original 1982 license plate. 2710 was Malvern-based and 7338 was Eglinton-based. ¡@ |
| 7331 / 7322 | 7331 and 7322 were among the first group of New Flyer low floor buses arrived in Toronto in mid July. 7331 was licensed on July 21 and 7322 received it later. Here is another photo on 7331 taken on July 19 when 7331 was still not licensed yet. ¡@ |
| 7350 | As more brand new Orion VII buses arrived at Eglinton garage, the 73xx Flyers were sent over to Queensway division. 7350 was one of the last few remaining D40LFs staying at Eglinton when being photographed on Sept 5 2004. ¡@ |
