PANi possesses several unique properties that makes it an ideal component in its various applications. Such applications include electromagnetic shielding, semiconductor, anti-corrosion coating, and as an "electronic nose." However, its brittleness makes it difficult to be molded into the desired shapes. Therefore, if the blends were successfully made, PCL's relatively better mechanical properties will be incorporated into PANi, making it applicable in its various applications.
