Some have passed, others are still
doing their job in radio. In this section we will try to give you
updates on where the former 208 staff are now. However - this list is
by no way complete. Please get in touch if something is missing or have

Alldis, Barry - Died November 21. 1982. Anthony, Peter - Presenter on Radio Caroline, and also writing screenplays. Bailey, Alan - Retired from broadcasting. Has published a book about his years with Radio Luxembourg in London. Visit his website. Beech, Sandy - Works as managing/creative director for the production company Music 4 in London. Blackburn, Tony - He was heard additionally on Radio Luxembourg. Today he has some shows regularly on various UK stations, i.e. KCFM. Blewitt, Tony - Presenter on Classic FM in South Africa. Brady, Pete - Chief executive of Crystal Clear Film & Video Ltd in London. Brandon, Jessie - Radio news editor on Feature Story in Washington DC. Brass, Ian - Presenter on BBC Radio Devon. Brown, Benny - Presenter on the new Radio Luxembourg. Burnett, Paul - Presenter on KCFM, Hull. Cary, Chris - Died February 2008. Cash, Dave - Presenter on BBC Radio Kent. Christian, Dave - Was presenter on the new Radio Luxembourg, but has now left his fulltime job at RTL. Collins, Rodney - Part of the team who work within Isle of Man International Broadcasting, serving as Press and Public Relations coordinator. He also present som programmes on Isles FM in Stornoway. Constance, Arthur - Died March 1961. Day, Roger - Presenter on the BBC Local network south in the UK. Dell, Alan - Died August 18. 1995. Denning, Chris - In prison after pleading guilty to child abuse. More on this at BBC News. Eastwood, Dave - Died March 1989. Edmonds, Noel - Is running various companies, besides presenting "Deal or no deal" on Channel 4 and "Are you smarter than a 10-year old" on Sky One. Visit his website. Evans, Ken - Retired after a long career in broadcasting. Everett, Kenny - Died April 4. 1995. Fordyce, Keith - Seems to be on the air occasionally on BBC somewhere in the south-west of England. Fox, Neil - Presenter on Magic 105.4 in London. Freeman, Alan - Died November 27. 2006. Graham, Jeff - Works within the police. Green, Hughie - Died May 3. 1997. Harris, Bob - Presenter on BBC Radio 2. Henry, Stuart - Died November 24. 1995. Hollingdale, Paul - Works as a voice-over instructor for TV UK Limited. Hollis, Mike - Presenter on Smooth Radio in West Midlands. Holmes, Chris - Presenter on BBC Radio 1 under the name Chris Moyles. Hughes, Peter - Works for Trident Sound Studios in London. Jackson, Jack - Died January 15. 1978. Jabobs, David - Presenter on BBC Radio 2. James, Tony - Presenter on BBC Radio Cumbria. Jensen, David - Presenter on Gold in London. Jones, Rob - Runs the broadcast production company USP Group in London, which is located in 24 Newman Street (Radio Luxembourg's London offices were located in 74 Newman Street). King, Gary - Can be heard on several British stations with an 80s music show, and is also working for LBC 97.3 in London. Knight, Michael - Still living in Luxembourg, working as a civil servant. Visit his website to keep informed of his projects. Miles, Jonathan - Presenter on BBC Radio Newcastle in the UK. Mitchell, Warren - Seems to do performing jobs, although he is over 80 years old! Murray, Pete - Presented his final radio programme on LBC in London in 2002. Has not been in broadcasting since. Nicol, Colin - Lives in Perth, Australia and seems to be involved with community radio. Norton, Dick - Died Novmber 12. 2000. Orchard, Ray - Lives in his hometown Victoria in Canada. Page, Mark - Managing director of Garrison Radio, the British Army's own radio service. Pearce, Howard - Working for Adstream. Peel, John - Died October 26. 2004. Powell, Peter - Works as manager and agent to many performers in the UK. Prince, Tony - Programming Director of Wedding TV. Read, Mike - Presenter on Radio London. Rosko, "Emperor" - His real name is Mike Pasternak, and his show "California Connection" is heard on various radio stations around the world. Savile, Jimmy - Has been doing lots of things in radio and television, and is still active. Scott, Jodie - Her real name is Adrianne Sebastian-Scott, and she is today a singer. See her website for more information. Smith, Tim - Presenter on BBC Radio 2. Stewart, Bob - Lives just outside of Dallas in Texas, but as far as we know he is not in radio anymore. St. John, Norman - Lives in Brisbane, Australia, but is not involved in radio anymore. Works with the steel industry. Stone, David Lee - Died March 1997. Symonds, David - Seems to run the radio station Coast FM in Limassol, Cyprus. Tilley, Shaun - Presenter on KCFM, Hull. Vance, Tommy - Died March 6. 2005. Walker, Johnnie - Presenter on BBC Radio 2. Wesley, Mark - Runs the production company Mark Wesley Productions in Essex. Wright, Steve - Presenter on BBC Radio 2, and does also present "Top of the Pops 2" on BBC Two. Young, Jimmy - Was on BBC Radio 2 until 2002, but are now retired from broadcasting. Young, Muriel - Died March 24. 2001. Ziepe, Gary - Still a radio presenter, but it is not known where he is now after the Capital Gold and Classic Gold merger. |
