Radio Luxembourg did
broadcast their night time programmes from this building, the Villa
Louvigny, for most of the years. The building is located in the town
area of Luxembourg's capital. Early in the 1990s Radio Luxembourg moved
to a new building outside the town area together with owner CLT and the
other RTL stations. The initials "RTL" means "Radio Téle
Luxembourg". Besides the English transmissions CLT have had a German,
French and Letzebuergisch service for many years. There were even
programmes in Dutch from this building.

early 50s. At that time it was without a tower. The tower was built in
1956-57.
