     candle-a.gif (1839 bytes)  This is dedicated to Marvin, the sweetest little Angus calf imaginable.
Marvin developed joint ill, a crippling infection that could not be cured.  Each day it became harder for him to walk, but he was always happy to see me and loved to be scratched.  Yesterday the vet put him to sleep because the infection had spread around his heart.  Each day when I saw his sweet little face, I told myself that I needed to take a picture of him.  I waited too long and now it's too late.  So learn from my mistake - if you have some special little animal you love, please take the extra minute to take that picture.  You'll be so glad you did.   I know Marvin is in a lovely green pasture now, running and kicking up his heels, like he never could on earth - and looking for someone to scratch his chin.
