life, namely booze, gaming, and the opposite sex.  Along the walls are many marble busts of
famous heroes of the Disc.  Next to the busts is a sign.

altar stolen from the temple of some miscellaneous snake god, sits squarely on the north side of
the room, behind which many huge barrels lie on their sides.  A man at the bar draws the eye,
probably because he's surrounded by a group of very mean looking trolls.  An archway to the east
leads out of the bar.  A beer-stained menu has been tacked to one of the barrels.

man standing behind it, he has a large staff with a knob on the end.  The floor is old grey
stone, just off to the south is a solid looking oak door.  There is an old archway to the north. 
Some stairs go down to the Great Hall to the east.
