Characterization Questions

The written questions come from a mysterious book I read in 6th grade. If you know what it is, please let me know. The character sketch outline is MINE. :)

Getting to know your character is the best way for you to create effective players in your story. Here are some questions to answer if you need more character development. Be sure to create your new characters using my nifty character sketch outline!

Character Sketch Questions
1. What does the character look like?
2. How old is the character?
3. Is the character happy or sad? Shy or friendly? Afraid or brave? What is he/she afraid of?
4. What does he/she like to do? Does he/she have a hobby?
5. What are his/her skills? What can't he/she do?
6. Where does he/she live? Where is he/she from?
7. Where does he/she go? Does he/she like to travel?
8. What does he/she eat?
9. Does he/she have any brothers or sisters? Is he/she older or younger?
10. Does the character have one parent or two? Do they fight or get along?
11. What does the character think of the people he/she meets?
12. Does he/she have any pets? Does he/she like animals?
13. Is he/she lazy or full of pep?
14. Does he/she like to be alone or with others?
15. Does the character have a sense of humor? If so does it help him/her or get him/her into trouble?
16. What does the character do for a living?
17. How does the character act/behave?
