All I Ask of You
November 1998

It's difficult to speak to you no matter how hard I try
I feel like a fool in isolation
To have the honor to hold your hand and gaze deep in your eyes
Will only exist in my imagination
You're the finest thing I see in life today
But it's so hard for me to stand before you and say:

All I ask of you
Is to let me show to you
All the things I'd do
Just to catch an Angel's eye
But if it's not enough
To be worthy of your love
I'll pray to the Lord above
That he will be forever by your side

So many times a picture of you appears in my mind
That's when I have my inspiration
Thoughts I dream were true, but now I still find
Will only exist in imagination
What would you think if I could tell you how I feel?
Will it ever be that what I'm dreaming could be real?

All I ask of you
Is to let me do for you
All the things I'd do
To make true an Angel's dreams
But if it's not enough
To be worthy of your love
I'll ask the Lord above
To give you no less than he has given me

Girl I know it's the little things that can mean so much
But being near you just makes me blue
Cause when you look at me, it's like an Angel's touch
I realize my feelings are true
I want to look deep in my soul and feel you somehow
But I realize in truth, It's just a dream right now

All I ask of you
Is to let me prove to you
All the things I'd do
Just to win an Angel's heart
And if somehow it'd be enough
To be worthy of your love
I'll thank the Lord above
For giving me his most precious work of art
