The network said in a news release yesterday that its "20/20" show quotes sources in law enforcement agencies as saying Donald Foster of Vassar College bases his analysis on the punctuation and indention styles used in the note.

Summary: The handwriting analyst who reportedly has linked Patsy Ramsey to the ransom note left by her daughter's killer earlier had said he thought she was innocent, said Patsy Ramsey's attorney. Patrick Furman said he has a June 1997 letter from handwriting analyst Donald Foster in which he tells Patsy Ramsey, "I know that you are innocent --- know it, absolutely and unequivocally. I would stake my reputation on it --- indeed my very faith in humanity."

Title: FOSTER SUSPECTS INTERNET POSTER  JAMESON  ò¿ó KILLED JONBENET

Summary: After exchanging some emails with Foster, he offers to facilitate her turning herself  in as the possible killer of JonBenet. He gave jameson ò¿ó detailed instructions of how to confess her part to him so she could look in the mirror with some degree of self respect.   Foster claims to be able to tell if the author of the note is male or female yet he wrongly identifies jameson as a male.
