Embracing From Afar

These were the most difficult days
She had ever faced in her life
Her being here and him being there
Some days, it was just so hard
She tried to understand why it must be this way
But there is no simple answer
It was just another day
Of embracing him from afar

In her dreams he came to her
And they saw the world together
It wasn't easy
But with him there
She knew she could face anything
Completely
She couldn't believe how good it felt
To have him near
Unlike so many times before..

In the morning, when she awoke
Reality set in again
All the closeness she felt with him
Was now taken away
She missed him and wanted him
All over again
She wanted to tell him
That she loved him and cherished him
Like no other
But she had no chance to
All she could do was embrace him from afar
Just like she had
So many times before.....





A Poem Just For You

Although we've never met,
and I've never touched your face,
You have touched my heart.
You are now someone
I cannot live without.

You make me laugh,
when I want to cry.
You make me happy,
when I am sad.
I want to thank you,
for being you.
You bring out the best in me.

Since you have come into my life,
I feel alive again.
I was starting to doubt myself before I met you.
Wondering if this was "it".
I have now found that there is more.
Thank You

You make me feel like a teenager,
I love the feeling of butterflies in my stomach when I talk to you!

You make me no promises,
for then,
they will not be broken.
But,
You do make me feel special,
and for that,
I Love You.

Deep Connection

I feel such a deep connection to you
Everytime we speak
It's just so odd how you seem to finish my thoughts
Even when i'm not sure of them myself
I miss you when you aren't around
I try to keep my thoughts busy
But it's no use
I just can't help but think of you
Every minute of the day
Never have I felt this way before
All this is so new to me
Even though we now face many obstacles
Along the way
I know I can face anything put before me
With you in my life
I have alot to offer someone
And I want to give it all to you
I've waited so long to find someone like you
I want you to know that now and forever regardless
of what comes from it
You will always hold a special
place in my heart....
