Double Prices
Folks, Double Prices
is Double Prices, but you have to give credit to the folks at
Atínale al Precio for trying to add SOME kind of excitement to
the game. Each of the price possibilities is represented by one
of the above fruits, and the contestants decide which fruit they
think is the right price. The funny part of the game is when the
audience starts shouting "Canteloupe!!" and
"Watermelon!!" in Spanish from the audience.

 |
| Hot
dog! Double Prices for a stove! So what is it--the
canteloupe, or the watermelon?? |
It's
the watermelon, of course! Yum! |
Plinko
Played just like
the American version, with the $5000 slot. A win of $25,000 in
Plinko in Mexico would by like $3,500 here, so the audience
doesn't get as riled up. The items the contestants must earn
chips with are grocery items.

 |
| Well,
the sign has been scaled down a bit. |
But
this looks pretty similar. Heavy on the cyan as always. |
 |
 |
| Here's
an equal exchange rate for you: $0 in pesos is just as
lousy as $0 in American bucks. |
Is
the first digit of the Raisin Bran a 1, or is the last
digit 6? Raisin Bran in Plinko?? |
 |
|
| It
looks like Marco Antonio has his own Plinko stick... |
|
1 2 3/Easy as 1-2-3
Played just like
the American version.
 |
 |
| Well
those blocks are a little plain, don't you think? |
This
was a loss, unfortunately. |
