Introduction:

Go over form and content expectations for the poetry /novel project #1
Completed project now due Thursday Feb 25th.
-  a correspondence between two people which tells a story.
-  a minimum of six required postcards, containing specified poems.
-  presentation counts.
-  poetic requirements count.
-  narrative must include be beginning event, details, high point and ending.

Poetry Research Project
Due on Friday February 26th after one more period in the library.
Go over assignment sheet
Note:  the analysis is precisely the last two questions on the test.
----  You summarize the poem and talk about its structure/syntax/ rhyme scheme
----  You use the Questions to Ask Yourself to add more paragraphs and ideas to your analysis.

Class Expectations
 

1.  Type out as many of your poems or letters as you can, using Netscape Composer's word processor

A)  Edit your text as you go
B)  Use the spell check for obvious spelling mistakes.
C)  Adjust the font and size of the text so that it looks good.

3.   Use the Poets By Regions page to search for poets for your partner poetry assignment due Friday.
