Objective:   To create study questions for the story Uneasy Homecoming, and for suspense stories in general
Materials:  Class set of More Strawberries
Opening Motivational Set
  • Present notion of high level and low level questions, and a sample of how the groups will present their questions
Procedure:

1.   In groups of 5, students will choose 3 good questions from the 5 questions they had prepared at home on the story Uneasy Homecoming. They will prepare reasons why each question is important, whether it is a question about form, content or response, and how the question might be answered.
 

2.  Groups present questions by writing them on the board, numbered, while others copy them out in a list.

HW.  - Students must answer 6 of the questions in the list for home work.



 
 
  • Reading Theatre Readings on Sound of Thunder Scripts begins next class.
  • Students evaluate using the marking grid, and feed back sheet.
