| Procedure:
1. Write a journal entry about a journey you have taken. Orally discuss a few when finished. Discuss what opinions and beliefs you brought with you, and what about your opinion changed. 2. Introduce Australia and Walkabout using map. Brainstorm possible meanings for word walkabout. 3. Pass out vocabulary sheet and note requirements that all words must be defined and classified according to parts of speech. After defining words as a class, make guesses on way first chapter will begin. 4. Read orally first part of Walkabout. 5. Pass out question sheet
