N.C.    - Not clear.

The meaning is not clear.

Awk.   -  Awkward syntax or phrasing.
Not the best way to say it.

V.A.P.  -  Verb agreement problem.
"John and Mary is cool" (Wrong.  Should be "are cool" because there are two.)

V.T.P.  -  Verb tense problem.
When using "I will run", use "I will also jump", not "I would",  or "I am jumping".

M.W.  -  Misused word.
Perhaps a difficult word was misused.  Or perhaps you used the wrong preposition.

M.P.   -  Misused period.
Should have been a comma, or maybe nothing at all.  (goes with I.S.)

I.S.     -   Incomplete sentence.
Because of words used (that, which), the phrase depends too much on the previous sentence, and is actually a part of that first sentence.

S.S.    -  Spliced sentence.
This is when two sentences are spliced (joined) together.  Period and capital are missing.

L.P.    -  Lost pronoun
This is when a pronoun (they, I, he) is used and it is not clear whom you are talking about.
When in doubt, use their name, until it sounds repetitive, then use a pronoun.

Practice by marking the problem on the left, and circling where that problem occurs.
They were walking down the street.  It was a cold day, and the sun was hidden behind the dark clouds.  Which were filling the whole sky and caused everything to be colourless and dull.  I am sure that Joe could have easily avoided their cold stares, but he was defiant, he wanted to show them he could do anything, and he wanted to prove to himself that he was not scared.  But when he saw their cold eyes, he knew the shallow abyss of the their minds.  He couldn't possibly beat them to the pulp of their minds eyes.  Them, they were cruel more than any other guys seen he had ever.  The rain started to fall.  Joe will run through the puddles hid behind a building.  But the two bullies and the leader with the ugly scar on his face was right behind him.  The fight was over in a matter of seconds, and after that their was nothing much left of Joe.
