For a book:

• Author's name, family name first, followed by a period.
• Title of the book underlined, followed by a period
• Place of publication, followed by a colon
• Publisher, followed by a comma
• Date of publication, followed by a period

For an article:

• Author's name with the family name first and followed by a period
• Title of the article followed by a period, all in quotation marks
• The name of the source (ex. Worldbook)underlined followed by a comma
• The volume number followed by the date which is in brackets and followed by a comma
• The pages on which the articles appears, followed by a period.

Example:

Comyns-Carr, J. W.   " Blake, William. "   Encyclopedia Britannica, Vol. IV (1986),   p 66-69.

Research Project Contents and Requirements
 

• Research on a topic related somehow to the book Walkabout.
• Record notes on a notes sheet only.
• Record bibliographic information on the same sheet.
• Use examples from the book  in the essay.
• All essays must have three distinct sections, and proper paragraphs are expected.
• The entire essay will be written in class, using only the book and your notes after two library visits only.
• The good copy of the bibliography page will be done at home.
• All topics must be approved
