Evangelion Unit 00 -- Ayanami Rei

Evangelion Unit 00 actually has two different looks. The original model was orange, but after the grevious damage it suffered in the battle with the Fifth Angel, it was colored blue.

Eva 00 is piloted by Rei Ayanami the First Child. It was also the prototype Evangelion. Throughout the course of the series, this eva goes out of control and berzerk during testing phases, and experiments. There is not much known about this eva, and it is never quite determined who the ghost in the machine is. (i have my own speculation, read the My Thoughts section)
