Part German, part Japanese, Asuka arrive in Tokyo-3 in the eighth episode. She has a firery temperment and the ego to accompany it. She prides herself on being the best, and settles for nothing less than absolute victory. She seems perpetually pissed and yells a lot. She pilots Eva Unit 02 with feriocity and determination. And it also seems she makes a hobby out of picking on Shinji. However, beneath her hostile exterior lies a past she can't escape.
