from the gungan city for being too clumsy. The gungan's
are ruled by the lead gungan Boss nass. Boss nass
and the rest of the gungans refuse to get involved with the troubles of
the top-dwellers the naboo. Qui-gon
jinn use's a jedi mind trick to supply them with a bongo sub to travel
through the planets core in order to reach the capital city of the the
naboo...theed... where queen amidala
is located.
Qui-gon also claims a life debt to jar jar binks in order to save him
from being punished by the gungans for returning to the city. .

heads lay half buried in the swamp. Queen
amidala begs on her knees and pleads with the gungan leader boss nass

nass agree's when he see's that the naboo see the gungans as powerful equals.

gungans army is amassed with foot soldiers armed with
personal energy shields and sling shots that fling pumba's blue energy
balls They also
use large catapault's that launch larger pumbas, gungans
riding famba's, reptile like tauntan's
and
giant dinosaurs with shield generators that create massive shields that
protect whole battalions.
