Journeying once again to Earth-1 to visit her "Uncle Bruce", the Batman, she helps him to deal with his resurfacing feelings of depression over the loss of his parents, as she had.

The Huntress tracks down a hit-man named the Mechanic, which she apprehends.

The unnatural looking, yellow-skinned Earthworm peddles his black marketing of babies in Gotham City, which gets the Huntress' attention.  Entering the Earthworm's home, the sewers, she finds his hungry pet alligators instead!  While subduing them, journalist Norda Borrower and politician Terry Marsh continue their campaign against the so-called "vigilante of Gotham."  It is then revealed that Marsh is a pawn of the Earthworm, who wishes to rid the city of his pesky opponent.  Marsh organizes citizens' groups against the Huntress, which chase her throughout Gotham until she evades them.  Eventually, she corners the Earthworm in the sewers, saving another baby...while he slips away!
