After defeating the Crimelord at his castle, the Huntress learned that the villain had implemented one last piece of revenge against her.  She discovered that her father's faithful butler, Alfred Beagle, has been poisoned!  Within four hours, at midnight, he would pass away.  Racing against the clock, the Huntress used her chemistry
training to find the cure.

Since retiring as a butler, Alfred had been performing at the New Cambridge Theatre.  Later, when Robin was drugged by the Stream of Ruthlessness to turn evil, it was up to the Huntress to subdue him...and up to Alfred to guard him, which was a difficult task for the faithful man-Friday.  But, as throughout his distinguished career assisting the Batman Family, he was up to the task.
