Mallory is back in town. An artist is found murdered at his own opening. Mallory and Riker starts the investigation. At the same time, she links it to a 20 year old murder of a dancer, Aubry Gillette and a painter. Her dad never thought that the one who confessed was the killer but he was shut down at the time. Under cover, Mallory reopens the old case and questions everyone who was linked to the murder.

Quinn, the uncle of Aubry,is quite fascinated by Mallory. Simply because they are so much alike. However Mallory will do anything to find where his sister is. The mother of the dancer. Her husband will do also anything to find her and will always reject the art critic who always flaunt herself at him but will never get him.

At the same time, Andrew Bliss, another art critic, goes beserk. He decides that he must tell the world how to dress. For this he imprisons himself on the top of the Bloomingdale's building. Mallory is quite fascinated that the two murders, Aubry's and the new one happened in a gallery pwned by Koozeman. She also knows that it will not be the last one. She knows that for some reason he is linked to both of them but why?

For this she needs Quinn's help who knows everything about art and the different markets to sell art. At the same time, a small war between the NYPD and the FBI starts. And of course, Mallory takes great pleasure in destroying the FBI's profile to the bewilderement of NY officials, and to the delight of the police chief :) Koozeman dies and now Kathy really need to find the killer before he hits again.

It's a good book. I read it as fast as the others but I didn't like it as much as the others, HOWEVER, despite that if i had to rate it it would be three stars and half. Advice: Buy it or borrow it. But it certainly is worth spending the money on it as any of the O'Connell books.
