The saga of the Starks, Baratheons, Greyjoys, Targaryens continues.

King Robert is dead and now four kings have risen in his stead. Robert Stark, Joffrey Baratheon, son of Robert and Cersey, Stannis Baratheon, Robert's brother and Renly Baratheon, Robert's other Brother. The realm is up in tears, battles all over, the Lannisters against the Starks. Stannis against all of them.

Robert Stark winning all the battles, taking Jaimie Lannister, the Kingslayer, hostage. Tyrwin Lannister, father of Jaimie, Tyrion and Cersei, withdrawing to Harrenhalm the cursed castle.

Two direwolves have disappeared from the scene, Sansa's Lady who was executed by her father because Arya's Nemeria attacked Joffrey in self defense but was nowhere to be found. Rickon's dorewolf is as undisciplined as its master and always on a leash because he attacks anyone especially the foster children that lady Catheryn has accepted to have, the Freys. Bran's direwolf always on the guard for its master who didn't die from the fall but ended up paralyzed. Jon's direwold, the albino, with Jon on the Night's Watch and saving the Master of the Watch when two dead resurrected.

Stannis is in concert with the red sorceress and Renly dies mysteriously. Now, Stannis is on the way to King's Landing where Tyrion prepares for battle.

Daenerys Targaryen is welcomed in a city because of her three dragons but noone wants to give her the ships to retake her throne.

As the story goes on, more characters appear and an entire new world unfolds in front of our eyes. Full of magic, sorcery, battles to be won and to be lost.

The parties are so much against each other that no peace treaty can be found while wisdom would have the Starks and the Lannisters unit against Stannis, the black sheep.

I have to say that i love that book. The bad things is there is a third book coming but since this one just hit the shelves, i don't think it will be any time soon......

I hope that it will be like the first two of the saga though. It is a change from thrillers, autobiographies. And for people who like enchanted worlds then it is the book for you!!!!!
