Hi There, My name is Kharm and as I have been sooo bored lately, I thought I would try my hand in Web Page design. I absolutely Lurrrrve Romance and meaningful issues. So I thought this would be a brill thing to base my pages on. Many of the images and backgrounds on my pages are designed and created by me and alot of the Song/Poems are written by myself also, the rest are ones that I have heard and have really touched my Heart. Okay, enough of all that, on to the good stuff..

Love & Romance

Many of my pages are based on Lurrrrve and Romance, with Poems and Songs which either I have written personally or heard, which made my Heart miss a beat.. or even (yes I admit it..) made me cry.. awww arn't i such a sentimentalist?..lol.

My Wife

Uh-oh!! I should have put her as my first Personal Interest I hear you say.. but, ah!, my first Personal Interest is Love and Romance.. and guess who is the keeper of all my Love>>??..yessss, you got it, my wife!!.. so I guess you could say she is first and second on my list..hehe (Whew!! Did that sound as convincing to you as it did to me??..LOL!!). All my above pages are dedicated to and inspired by her.. but these are pages with Poems/Songs I wrote for her to express my eternal Love for her. (Okay, Okay.. I do have sick buckets available to rent...hehe).

Inspirational Poetry & Song Writing

As you may now have guessed I absolutely Love writting Poetry and Songs about stuff that means alot in this World today, much of which is overlooked and sometimes forgotten. There is many a time that I hear a song, read a Poem or a passage in a book that makes me stop and think, sometimes with my Heart in my mouth. I enjoy reading things which warm my Heart and make me realise that there is good things in life too.

Natural Healing & Alternative Lifestyles

I am a strong believer in the Alternative/Natural way of Living, Spirituality (The Celestine Prophecy, Pagan & Wiccan) and Complementary Healing. I am a member of the International Distance Healing Network and am the founder of "Healing Light", which is made up of more than 500 volunteers from around the World and offers many, many different kinds of Alternative Therapies (a few include.. Acupuncture, Aromatherapy, Energy Healing, Herbal Remedies, Homeopathy). I am fully trained in Hypnotherapy/Auto-Suggestion, Psychology, Counselling, Reiki and Subtle Energy Healing. Much of my work right now involves researching into ways of improving the methods that we use Alternative/Complementary Healing in the World today and educating the public in order to try to acheive acceptace throughout the entire World.

The Natural Elements

I live in an area which is full of Beautiful Scenery, whichever way you turn, you don't need to go more than 5 minutes down the road to come across some of the most beautiful Countyside around. There are plenty of places to go to relax and 're-charge' yourself... To see just what I am talking about visit my pages here..

Also, I Love taking photo's of lovely areas which I have visited and looking back at the pictures I feel very warm and relaxed.. Why not go and see for yourself..

Joshua

Josh is my little nephew and he was born on 5th October 1998. Even though he is only nearly 7 months old, he is in 18month-2yr old clothes.. hehe, (Big bruiser as we call him). He is very clever also, because he has even designed his own Web Pages for his mummy, because he felt that she deserved a little attention too...

Music

Music is my Life.. writing it, listening to it and playing it. Anything with good lyrics and a good beat goes for me. I am very open to all kinds of different music.. from classical to heavy metal. But my favourite is Irish Folk. Some people go "aaaaa" when I say that, but after listening to it they can't believe that they have actually heard 'folk music' and say "That ain't folk" ..hehe (Oh yes it is!!). My favourite groups are Clannad, Enya, Enigma and Capercaillie.

I am in a Irish Country/Folk band, in which I sing and play the Guitar. We have become quite popular around England and some of our songs have been heard playing on the Radio.

Martial Arts/Weight Lifting

In my leisure time I enjoy weight lifting and during my time at College I came second in a mixed competition. (The guy who came third after me was my instructor..hehe). I find that this helps to take away any stresses and strains that may have built up during the day. Another great stress reliever I find is Martial Arts.. I run a Self-Defence class, where I teach a method called 'Jui-Jitsu', which is used in todays modern Police Force. But on my current course most of the attendees are Women who have experienced some kind of domestic violence and abuse. The techniques of my methods do not deal with just the physical restraints, but also on the mental aspects too. I apply meditation as a form of relaxation and basic exercises to keep the mind clear.

Livestock/Pets

I keep a variety of birds, which I care for unconditionally. In return they show me affection which many people think is not possible. One particular bird.. named Lizzie follows me around everywhere and taps her beak on the window to let me know she is there. She will sit on my knee for hours and even fall asleep. (Hehe.. I know you think I'm totally mad now.. but she is a treasure to my whole family).

Narcolepsy/Cataplexy Research & Information

I personally suffer from this very disabling illness, which not a great deal is known about by both the General Public or the Medical Field. It is my intention to bring awareness of this illness into the World'd view. Any information and findings i receive will be Published on this site for information purposes only.

Web Page Design

I am currently working on a step-by-step guide on how to build Web Pages easy and inexpensive. (In England we are charged for the time spent on-line by the minute, so the least amount of time spent on-line creating these pages the better).

Graphics/Animation Design

I am constantly fiddling about with images and photo's, making the best graphics I can. I have just discovered how to use Paint Shop Pro and have created some wonderful graphics which I use on my Web Pages. I have created some great:
