I caught these guys live as the opening act for Queensryche and have loved them ever since! Their music is so dark and tragic....and Peter's voice speaks to your very soul! "Christian Woman", "Summer Breeze" and "Bloody Kisses" are my favorites off the "Bloody Kisses CD. From "October Rust" I like "Bad Ground", "Love you to Death" and "Cinnamon Girl"! There are some earlier recordings though I haven't gotten any of them yet!
Who DOESN'T like Trent Reznor??? The man may be a bit "eccentric" but he's a musical genius! NIN has been around for quite some time and they see to get more and more "trendy" which is fine with me....I LIKE to hear their stuff on the radio (even if it is censored!) Too many favorites to list! If I had to choose only one......I'd have to say "Closer"!
What can I say...I have LOVED these guys for years! Their lyrics are so deep, their music so different and Geoffe Tate's voice is so impressive! My only complaint would be that they don't put out albums often enough...but then again..You can't rush this kind of talent! I love all of their stuff...but I am especially partial to "Rage for Order" !
Disturbing and Dark.....And their videos Kick Ass! I really like Tool... their sound is hard to catergorize, their lyrics mostly senseless but entirely KEWL! My favorite album is "Undertow" cuz the album seems to flow with a smoothness that is incredible plus I LOVE "Sober"!
OH...Well I just can't stop listening to Poe! I love their variety... from "Beautiful Girl" - Sweet and Beautiful......to "Fingertips" - a Funky & Fun song with a hint of "ska"! I am so pleased with this CD! "Angry Johnny" is definantly one of my favS!!!!!
What an Entertainer! Marilyn Manson is a bit creepy and he definately makes great controversey but he ROCKZ! His music kicks Ass....his lyrics are at the very least interesting....his stage show is the kewlest....In fact, everytime he opens his mouth something amazing comes out. While most people find him frightening and/or annoying....I think he is extremely intelligent! He definantly knows how to get attention! Oh..and he is sorta pretty! *grin*
Okay, Okay, so you may not have heard of these guys...YET that is!
I foresee a *GREAT* future for these German hotties as they are extremly talented musician's , great songwriter's AND cute (especialy that Udo Berger!)
They recently won a "Battle of the Bands" contest that gave them 2 days of studio time so their demo should be recorded and ready to start making them famous soon!
