Civil helicopters

MBB-Kawasaki BK.117A-3 OO-XCU

This joint co-operation between the German and Japanese companies led to a versatile helicopter that is especially appreciated in Medevac roles.

McDonnell MD-520 NOTAR OO-SZO

Something of a novelty, this light helicopter is devoid of any anti-couple tailrotor, the counteracting force coming instead from compressed air venting through orientable tail louvres. This way, the heli is quieter and safer due to the absence of long transmission axes and gearboxes for the tailrotor.

Robinson R-22 OO-CHA

One of the new designs of the late seventies, the R-22 quickly proved itself as an economic two-seat helicopter. It is in use with several flying schools and even some air forces include it in their inventory.
