Goupy II (1909)

Although not well-known, the Goupy is said to be the father of the modern biplane. Its construction techniques are still in use today, the tractor propellor and ailerons being seen on most aircraft. The aircraft was designed Ambroise Goupy and Lt. Maria Calderara and built at the Bleriot factory at Buc.
