Hi, I am a 26
year old woman living in Solihull, England. This is a town
very near Birmingham, a fairly grim industrial city, and
that is where I work. I work as an administrator in a
government lawyers' office. I am the only child of an
english father, who vanished when I was 13, I have not seen
him since, so I can only hope that he is happy and
cherished, and a mother who claimed to be Russian from many
generations back: hence my full name, Ekaterina! My mother
died when I was 19, and it was only in the last two years of
her life that I learned to love her. My life has been
setlled and very ordinary now, but before things happened
which should not happen to anyone, and though I have
survived I have memories which remind me always of how
things might have been if I had not had the right help at
