It serves the counties of Leslie, Knott, Letcher, Perry, Owsley, Wolfe and Breathitt. Lee County has a shelter located in Beattyville, Kentucky, and takes care of clients/victims for Lee County. However, the LKLP Spouse Abuse program has a written agreement with the Beattyville Shelter to accomodate clients that may need to be referred out of Lee County for any reason.
