CLUB RULES

First of all I want to tell you that these rules are not made to make you feel uncomfortable or make you feel that you are not welcome on the club. The Temple of Dawn Yahoo Club is all about Joseph Michael Linsner and Dawn. The club was created for you to express your love for the character and JML's work. Do not feel surpressed by the rules, and there is no censorship involved. If you feel any of these rules are unclear, or they should be better explained on this page, feel free to email me at: maggieh@softdisk.com

Rule #1: Personal attacks are strictly forbidden. In other words treat other members like you would like to be treated. Remember there is a person on the other side reading what you have posted.

Rule #2: Heated debates are fine and healthy. Everyone has a right to their own opinions, but do not attack a person directly. State your thoughts on the subject, but do not say things like "Your stupid" etc. Refer back to rule #1.

Rule #3: This rule is more of an acknowledgement. Your posts can be subjected to being deleted if debates turn to fights. In order to keep the board from becoming a flame war list, the list moderator must step in. Personal problems against another member must be handled through email. If you don't like a post, skip over it. If you don't like a person in general that posts, read all post but theirs.

Rule #4: Keep it clean. The majority of members are adult, but younger crowds can view the board. Don't feel any threats by this, you are open to say whatever.

Rule #5: If you have a complaint, please send email to the list moderator at: maggieh@softdisk.com. This is by no means "crying to mommy".

Rule #6: If your only looking for a board to have flame wars on, there are Yahoo clubs as well as many other chat outlets for this.

Rule #7: Idle chat is completely fine and welcome to help members get to know each other. However think before you post. Ask yourself if you'd actually want to hear what you are about to post. Personal post (Such as "My day went horrible, hope everyone else's is fine?") are probably welcome by members as this helps each other to know more about their potential friends, but a post such as "I just peed myself, hehe" is more than likely frowned on by everyone and isn't necessary to post.
