EPISODE 128
Everyone is on their way to the auction. When they arrive at the hotel where the auction is going to be, they see Robert's car parked exactly in the middle of his parking space. It's as if he go the assistance of a surveyor to park it. Robert has all of his draws labelled in his bedroom - Socks, singlets, hankies and so on. He even has his name on all his clothes. When they know he is going to be out of the house for a while, they make a catwalk in the lounge, put on some Duran Duran and model his clothes. Sandman doesn't go into his room himself, he thinks that the rest of the housemates do the same to him when he' out.

When they walk into the foyer of the hotel where the auction is, they attract a lot of attention. It's a toss up between Ruby, wearing a purposely grass covered red mohair cardigan and walking the Persian on a leash, and Paddle, who is dressed as though he was in Pseudo Echo and wearing a tiara as to who gets the most looks. The conference room where the auction is being held is very crowded. Mostly young couples with in-laws in tow with their savings....to be continued...

EPISODE 129
The first few properties go for under the reserve price, however there was some quite tense bidding for a house in Sandman's old street, Pleasant Avenue. It was the Chi's place. Toby Chee once built a ships quarter deck, complete with mast and wheel, on the back of his Ford escort van because he was bored. That's one of the problems when you grow up being over protected, you become weird and hard to know.

At 11.30 am 204 Bell Street, Bigge Hill, goes up for auction, the flatmates applaud. A slide of Bell St flashes up and the flatmates applaud again. Robert and Stephanie who are standing to the side of the room, ignore them. Sandman tells Bill that he used to operate the slides at the auctions. Bill asks Sandman if he wants a medal or a Davy Crocket hat. Sandman wishes he would have turned the other way and told Ruby, she wouldn't have been such a smart arse. He glances back at Bill, he is holding hands with Lexie.....to be continued...

EPISODE 130
The auctioneer describes 204 Bell St. as though it was a Victorian mansion - "This charming house of yesteryear, full of character, is close to cafe society. With seven bedrooms, that's right, seven bedrooms, all it needs is your imagination and tender loving care". He says that the current tenants are all young professionals, this make Paddle get and yell woohoo! "Bidding is to start at one hundred thousand"

The housemates are all in edge, except for Ruby. Ruby's cat got into a fight with an old couples Maltese terrier. The Persian really kicked it's ass, so Ruby had to take it outside. Paddle tells Sandman to bid so that they can piss Robert off....to be continued...

EPISODE 131
The auction has started and a floral shirt begins bidding at 110 thousand. Two others join in and the price rises quickly to 150 thousand. Robert is not bidding. Sandman looks at Robert, his frizzy hair is standing on edge. If Robert were to stand next to a fence, his hair would run along it creating a nice hedge.

The housemates are like agitated prairie dogs, heads jerking about from here to there. Paddle prods his fingers into Sandy's ribs telling him to bid....to be continued...

EPISODE 132
After being prodded again by Robert's bony fingers, Sandman stands up and shrieks 166 thousand. The auctioneer welcomes Sandman as Tiny Tim, this makes Lexie snort. When Lexie laughs, she can't help snorting like a pig. This makes others around her laugh, which in turn makes her snort. This cycle can go on for hours with her. Sandman's bid forces Robert, into action he bids 172 thousand without saying a word. Paddle prods Sandy again, but he doesn't. It's as though his parents have walked into the room and said "that's enough, you've had you're fun now come inside". Going once, going twice...173 thousand bids the floral shirt. Sandman gets a good look at him - he's an old hippy with a leathery face. Feral's could make a belt out of that face. 174 thousand bids Robert, 175 thousand replies the floral shirt, 176 thousand says Robert, looking pleased. After a pause, the floral shirt stands up and says 178 thousand dollars. Robert stands quietly, he whispers something to Stephanie, who is wringing a pamphlet in her hands. The auctioneer says going once... going twice... going....to be continued...
