Hi all! I'll have some more photos up here in a little while. Here are a few more Q/A's on pigeons. Q: Can all pigeons be taught to home? A: Yes, to a certain degree. The "homing type" of pigeons will return home to a much further distance than other pigeons. By "homing type", I mean pigeons such as: Carriers, Antwerps, Dragoons, Barbs, Baghdads, Exhibition Homers, Show Homers, Show Racers, German Beauty Homers, Scandaroons, Genuine Homers and others. Although they will home within certain limits they have been bred so long for show purposes while the Racing Homer has been bred extensively for it's distance and speed.
