The Hitchhiker
'Twas a midnight ride
on my Harley D
All was dark,
I could hardly see.
I had no fear.
Not a creature was out,
not even a deer.
Then all of a sudden,
without any warning,
from out of the black,
there she appeared!
"Oh man, she's hitchin' a ride!"
"I'm your guardian angel
sent from above.
I am very swift.
I have mighty wings.
I have no fear."
"But slow down honey,
you're going too fast!
I had a hard time
catchin' your 'azz'!!! "

Many times, as a mother, I have prayed
for the safety of my children.
I would look out the window
and watch my children play.
I would pray.
"Oh Lord watch over them
and keep them from harm."
God heard and answered.
They grew older and bolder!!!
Same prayer! God still heard
and answered.
Now, I know that God does hear our cries.
He does watch over them
and keep them from harm!
"Thank you Lord,
its going to be all right!"
