Once upon a time there was a candle named Candy who had no house to shine her candle in. Candy was so sad. She couldn't find a lantern who would let her candle in. She needed a lantern to shine her light through!

On the Saturday night before Easter, Candy wandered sadly from place to place looking for a lantern who would let her in. When the night was at it darkest, Candy noticed a lonely lantern who had NO light. Candy asked the lantern, "May I come live inside you so my light can shine through you?" The lantern let Candy the candle in, and it was the brightest lantern in all the land come Easter morning.

Candy's light shone only on Easter, but yours can shine forever, if you let Jesus in. Jesus is the Light of the world, and He will shine through anyone who will let Him in. Every day in the year is a golden opportunity for us to tell someone about Him; to let His light shine through us; to tell someone the Greatest Story Ever Told.
