4 - 5 week old pictures

This is what happens when they look for food. Even though we already fed them, since they are babies they are constantly looking for food, even from each other.
Here is CJ learning to perch on my finger :)
Not to be outdone by little sis, DJ shows off that he can perch on my Dad's finger as well :)
This is the babies in the plastic terrarium they spend most of their time in. They're kept on a heating pad in this, to keep warm. Their crests are up, making it seem as they are scared by something, but I think they were just practicing.
Here is CJ getting a nice warm meal :) She winds up wearing half of it, heehee, but they both really love that handfeeding formula!
DJ is exercising his wings, and someday soon he'll be doing that to actually fly!
It's a little blurry since it's an action shot, but here are CJ's wings in motion.
To give people an idea of the size these little guys started out at, here is a cockatiel egg (supplied by their mom, Chrissy) next to a quarter for size comparison. Hard to believe they were really small enough to fit inside one of these!
