Movie Review:
This is probably one of the best Roger Moore movies.  The plot involves a man who wishes to start a Nuclear War so he can begin a new civilization under the sea.  He uses a large tanker to capture Bristish and Soviet submarines.  James Bond is called in to investigate, and is teamed up with Tripple X, a female member of the KGB.  This movie is also the first to introduce Jaws, a super villian with jaws of steel.  While many people came to love this villian, many Bond fans thought that this character was the worst abomination that the Bond films faced.  They said he was far to comical and too unbelievable to have a place in the Bond films.  When I first saw this movie as a child, I thought Jaws was a terrific, menacing villian.  Now, he seems too silly.  In my opinion, this movie would have been much better if Jaws wasn't in it.  I still enjoy the movie, despite the addition of Jaws.

Extras Review:
Like all of the bond DVDs, this one is chalked full of every extra imaginable.  A newly created Documentary of the making of The Spy Who Loved Me,  original tv ads, radio ads, trailers, audio commentary and more.  And of coarse it contains the Collectible "Making-Of" Booklet like all of the Bonds.

Video and Sound Quality:
The video is excellent.  When I showed it to a friend, he said if I hadn't told him, he would have thought that the movie was made yesterday, the picture quality was so good.  The audio was also good.
