We currently have about 200 members.  Meetings are held at The Appleton Musuem of Art on the second Wednesday of each month from September to May.  Sign-in for the meetings begins at 12:15 and the meetings start at 1 p.m.  Each business meeting is followed by a guest demonstrator.
About three times a year, a well-known artist leads a two-day workshop in an ideal classroom setting at the museum.

During the year, the OAG usually sponsors three art shows to allow members to exhibit their work plus a special exhibit in the lobby of the Ocala Civic Theatre.

• Your OAG membership automatically includes membership in The Camera Club.  The club meets for photo shoots at various beautiful central Florida locations, and offers critique and problem solving advice.


• The Camera Club meets every third Wednesday of the month, September through May at 10 a.m.

We also sponsor field trips, picnics, luncheons, and paint outs.
